KALAVRITA
GREECE, EU
Kalavrita is the place where I was born & raised.
A relatively small town where I learned the great value of farming, harvesting & hard work in order to be able to cook with and eat the highest quality of products.
With all this in mind, my series on traveling would not be as complete & rich as possible, if Kalavrita was being missed from this magnificent journey.
My team & I visited Kalavrita with a double mission in our mind. First of all, I wanted to revisit the place where I had my first images and lessons on the art of cooking in order for my team members to see firsthand the place where all my career started. At the same time, I wanted to impart to my team the tradition of Greece and the value of cooking with organic, high quality products in every plate we create.
I am really proud to say that this trip had a really beautiful, refreshing impact on all of us!
