I always believed that people are the ultimate force behind every successful endeavor. With that in mind, when I began to create team Sperxos, I looked for the most talented as well as ambitious and hard working chefs from around the globe.  Let’s get to know each one of them. . .

OPERATIONAL MANAGER
Michaela Korbel

Michaela was born in Slovakia but lived all her adult life in the UK where she gained 9 years of experience working in hotels and restaurants. She moved to Dubai in 2021 on her new venture.

Ever since she came to Dubai, she has worked for Chef Sperxos which is definitely a highlight in her career. She is working closely with the Chef Sperxos, her passion is to communicate with the clients daily but at the same time deal with the team.

CHEF IN CHARGE
Sijo Joseph

Chef Sijo was born in India, he began his culinary journey at a young age in India for 2 years. He moved to UAE and started to work for One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel in 2016 where he met with Chef Sperxos.

The last six years, he is working with Chef Sperxos. Chef Sijo is passionate about creating culinary experiences and new recipes in the kitchen.

JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

Tashiana Tirmanee

Chef Tashiana come from Mauritius Island. Where all culture are mixed. She study in french culinary school and start her career in Dubai in Only Royal Mirage 2016 with Chef Alex.

She continue to grow in five Star hotel like Four seasons, Emaar company and Intercontine ntal Dubai. She is always looking for perfection and building her experience by working under best chef’s in the world. She is a strong and determined leader who knows how to motivate her team. Last but not least, Tashiana is a foodie and love to share a unique tasting experience to food lovers by doing what she loves the most, which is cooking from her soul.

PASTRY CHEF IN CHARGE
Gayan Devinda

Chef Gayan is Sri Lankan nationality chef. In his very young age, he moved to UAE for developed his professional carrier as chef in pastry since 2012. He has more than 6 years of experience in 5-star hotel as Metropolitan, Grosvenor house etc. Moved to restaurants saw his passion about cakes, French desserts etc.

He met with Chef Sperxos many years ago in the Food competition and he join the team of chefsperxos in 2022. He loves to use unique ingredients and created different desserts.

CHEF DE PARTIE
Algeline Sicosana

Chef Algeline is a lady chef from Philippines. She started her career in hospitality after she finished the university in 2015 and had experience in a 5-star hotel in Qatar.

She started to work with Chef Sperxos in 2022 as a Cher De Partie. She is always happy when she creates her own dishes and prove the talents to the team.

CHEF DE PARTIE
Thuminda Manoj

Chef Thuminda, born in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka, embarked on his culinary journey in 2014 at One and Only Royal Mirage. It was there that he crossed paths with Chef Alex.

A year later, he believed in Chef Alex and followed him on this adventurous journey. Afterward, he spent two years honing his skills at Coco in Saint regis hotel. Following this experience, he reunited with Chef Alex and has been working alongside him ever since, continually pushing himself to deliver the finest dining experiences to guests. Chef Thuminda’s dedication and passion for the culinary arts have been unwavering. Under Chef Alex’s guidance, he has honed his expertise, committing himself to excellence in fine dining.

DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE
Junrie Ostos Ocay

Junrie Ostos Ocay best known as “Bam”, a Filipino raised from the beautiful province of Mindanao. At the age of 16, his humble beginnings started in the Entertainment Industry wherein he had played as the Main Man or Band Lead Vocalist from the Philippines until he had reached and gracefully performed in both Bahrain and Dubai UAE.

Until the day came, he decided to change his career from Vocalist (Singer) to Chef Cook. Subsequently as of today, for six beautiful years he had been passionately embracing the life in the Kitchen. Keeping the fire burning, aiming for even higher while learning even bigger and bigger day by day.

Muhammed Ruhsan ek

Muhammed Ruhsan Ek, hailing from Kerala, India, embarked on his professional journey by studying Mechanical Engineering at Kerala University. However, his true passion lies in the art of photography and videography. Since 2019, Ruhsan has been immersed in capturing memorable moments, serving a diverse clientele that includes corporate events, Indian premium weddings, and remote projects for clients in Dubai.

In 2023, Ruhsan’s talent caught the eye of Chef Alex, who promptly enlisted him as a social media editor in Dubai. This opportunity not only showcased his creative prowess but also affirmed his dedication to delivering captivating visual narratives. Today, Ruhsan continues to blend technical expertise with artistic vision, shaping stories that resonate with audiences globally.
