I always believed that people are the ultimate force behind every successful endeavor. With that in mind, when I began to create team Sperxos, I looked for the most talented as well as ambitious and hard working chefs from around the globe.  Let’s get to know each one of them. . .

OPERATIONAL MANAGER
Michaela Bulakova

Michaela was born in Slovakia but lived all her adult life in the UK where she gained 9 years of experience working in hotels and restaurants. She moved to Dubai in 2021 on her new venture.

Ever since she came to Dubai, she has worked for Chef Sperxos which is a highlight in her career. She is working closely with Chef Sperxos and her passion is to communicate with the clients daily but at the same time deal with the team.

CHEF IN CHARGE
Sijo Joseph

Chef Sijo was born in India. He began his culinary journey at a young age in India for 2 years. He moved to the UAE and started to work for One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel in 2016 where he met Chef Sperxos. 

He is working with Chef Sperxos for six years now and is passionate about creating culinary experiences and new recipes in the kitchen.

PASTRY CHEF IN CHARGE
Gayan Devinda

Chef Gayan is from Sri Lanka. He moved to the UAE at a very young age to develop his professional career as a pastry chef since 2012. He has more than 6 years of experience in 5-star hotels such as Metropolitan, Grosvenor house etc. He moved to new restaurants, discovered his passion for cakes, French desserts, and chocolate.

He met Chef Sperxos many years ago at a Food competition and he joined the chef sperxos team in 2022. He loves to use unique ingredients and create different desserts.

CHEF DE PARTIE
Algeline Sicosana

Chef Algeline is from the Philippines. She started her career in hospitality after completing University in 2015 and has experience in a 5-star hotel in Qatar.

She started work with Chef Sperxos in 2022 as a Chef De Partie. She is always happy when she creates dishes and proves her talent to the team.

DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE
Himal Basnet

Chef Himal is from Nepal. He has over 8 years of experience as a Chef across hotel hospitality in the UAE. He has been working with Chef Sperxos and team since the day he came to Dubai.

His unique style of cooking includes preparing food in an innovative way by using quality products and exotic flavors.

DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE PASTRY
Aneesa Moosa

Chef Aneesa is from South Africa. She used to work at a bakery as well as run her business. She joined the Chef Sperxos team shortly after moving to Dubai just over a year ago.

Pastry is her passion, and nothing makes her happier than seeing the true joy and emotion expressed from eating something she made.

ASSISTANT CHEF
Samantha Kumara

Chef Samantha is from Sri Lanka. He started his career straight after school 7 years ago in his hometown.

In 2018, he made the decision to come to the UAE and continue as a chef in the restaurant industry. He joined Chef Sperxos in 2021. He loves capturing the dishes he creates.   

ASSISTANT CHEF
Ajesh Jismon

Ajesh is from Kerala, South India. After graduating as a Chef, he started working at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel.

He came to Dubai 3 years ago and joined the Chef Sperxos team 3 years ago. He loves to learn new things in all the different sections of the kitchen.

WAITER
Subhas Bhusal

Subhas is from the hills of Nepal. He started his work experience in Nepal, then continued to India and moved to Dubai in 2018. His background is hospitality business and customer service. He joined the Chef Sperxos team in 2021.

He has 6 years of experience with different types of cuisine. Every day of service increases his knowledge within his career. His passion is to entertain guests daily.

ADMIN/ACCOUNT

Shun Lai

Shun is from Monywa, Myanmar. She has 9 years working experience in the admin and finance department. She moved to Dubai in 2022 to grow her career and get international experience. She was given the opportunity to work for Chef Sperxos in Admin and Accounts.

She loves to play with numbers from a young age. She is always ready to assist clients and provide the best quotation for your private dining experience.
